Beyond skin low-boots

Quick post ! I just wanted to share this nice pair of low-boots by Beyond Skin I'm a huge fan of low-boots, although they're not that easy to wear... These ones are a bit "aggressive" and you might choose carefully yours clothes to match yours shoes. I would recommend skinny jeans, just perfect with any kind of shoe.

Minimal vegan mocassin

Here I am, posting another time shoes...I'm sorry, it's stronger than me. Everytime I look for something vegan I came out with a pair of shoes! Don't hate me...plus this time I wont show you heels, but a nice pair of moccasin.
I'm not a huge of the color, too much nude. But I do love the concept of the brand. It's MINIMAL,  a label started by the designer Kristen Lombardi's who's influenced by traditional costumes and animal forms . Each mocassin is hand made and a part of her line is vegan-friendly

Jeffrey Campbell vegan platform

Good news: Jeffrey Campbell is working with a boutique based in Berkeley on a entirely vegan shoes line.

Unfortunately it will be available only at Convert boutique but I have to admit that Campbell designs are soooo edgy  that it is impossible not to love them. If you decide to go for shoes like these you MUST stay casual with the rest of the ourfit. Keep it cool with a pair of dark blue or black skinny jeans and a simple t-shirt.

Oxford vegan heels

It's true, I do post a lot about shoes. But I think shoes are the easiest items to buy: you don't need to ask yourself if you look fat in these shoes, you can try them on easily and quickly without waiting forever for a fitting-room, etc..
Although, a bad footwear choice could destroy our entire outfit!
That's why I love Oxford heels..they go with almost everything from skirts to skinny jeans! I'm not a big fan of the colour though.
Plus, for us (vegans), finding good faux leather shoes is a little difficult but these are just amaze.

It took me a long time to understand the importance of accessories. But here I am, wise (?) and aware of the key-role un accessory has: it's the icing on the cake where the cake is our outfit!

Balmain is definitely not a vegan brand. And by definitely I mean that it's OUTRAGEOUSLY NOT VEGAN. But this dress is just amazing. Leighton Meester wore it for the MTV movie awards 2011 and she was perfect.

Don't worry, I'm not going to talk about the Shakespeare's tragedy :)
It's just that walking, walking and walking makes our feet hurt and sometimes we just need some comfy shoes. And I just wanted to dedicate a post to this special brand "discovered" by  a friend of mine in the US. Macbeth is special because it offers cruelty-free alternatives and it was started by TOM DELONGE and MARK HOPPUS of Blink 182. Oh gosh, I go crazy for these kids....

I'm in a vegan-hippie-kinda indie-babacool- mood lately! Well,  it's probably better if I show you exactly what I mean because I have to admit that's not very clear.

Matt&Nat is an eco-fashion label. In fact, the linings of their bags and wallets are made of 100% recycled plastic bottles The pattern of this "Hendrix" purse is just amazing.

Barcelona. This colourful mediteranean city took my breath away last Christmas. Although at that time I didn't know about Carolina's store, GreenLifeStyle. And that's because IT'S BRAND NEW. What I love is the mixture between the etnich Barcelona style and a more classic touch.

Ferragamo might not be a vegan fashion designer but he's still one of the most important and brilliant italian brands and you can always (almost) find items suitable for us even is non-vegan collections. Here an example of a gorgeous handbag made of resin and raffia by Salvatore Ferragamo. Then it's up to you whether to buy it knowing you'll support a non-vegan brand or just stare at it :)

I check now and then Care2 website and I must say that each time I learn something new! Today for instance I've learned about Nau, an eco-fashion brand (it's not vegan because it uses wool). What I like most about this label is absolutely its recycled poly collection and this dress/coat really makes the point! It transforms from snapped-up spring shell to unbuttoned sleeveless summer dress...so lovely!

You should visit Nau website as well as Care2 to join online petitions. You can really make a difference!

Italian eco-fashion designers, where are you?

Ok, I've been looking for some italian eco-fashion designers but I think I'm giving up. How is that possible I can't find any??Well, at least reading an italian economic newspaper gave me the opportunity to discover another terrific designers, who's not italian though!!!

Here's Alabama Chanin!This 45-years-old designer from, try to guess....Alabama, mixes up styles in her collection which I really love although I think I'll never be able to afford even a single dress...
